Who sees your data
A plain answer to what associations actually ask us: where your data lives, who can see it, and what runs behind the scenes to generate a report card.
Where is our data stored?
In Canada. Player data is stored on AWS in the Canada Central region (ca-central-1), through Supabase.
Who can see it?
Access to player data is limited to SportGrade's operator. It is not shared or sold to anyone else. Inside your account, coaches see their own team and administrators see every report card sent. Parents receive reports by email only, so there is no parent account or password to compromise.
What does the AI do?
Report narratives are generated using Anthropic's Claude API. Scores and notes pass through that service to produce the written report. The coach reviews each report and submits it before the parent receives it.
Is data encrypted?
Data moving between your browser and SportGrade's servers is encrypted.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Your account keeps read access to past seasons for 60 days after cancelling. After that, the data is removed.
