By creating an account or using SportGrade, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are signing up on behalf of an association or club, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
SportGrade lets coaches score players against sport- and position-specific evaluation templates. SportGrade generates a written report card from that scoring, which an association administrator reviews and approves before it is sent by email to the player's parent or guardian. No parent account or login is required.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
SportGrade is billed at a flat rate in CAD per player, per season.
Dunning sequence timing and specific grace-period-before-lockout thresholds to be filled in from the actual billing system configuration before publish, so this section describes what's built rather than an approximation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
The association or coach owns the data they enter into SportGrade, including player evaluations and report card content. SportGrade acts as a processor of that data on the association's behalf, not as its owner.

Coaches are responsible for the accuracy of the evaluations and notes they enter.
SportGrade uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude API) to generate the written narrative portion of each report card from a coach's scores and notes. Every report card is reviewed and approved by an association administrator before it is sent, but AI-generated narrative content can be inaccurate or phrased imperfectly, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. We recommend administrators review each report before approving it.
SportGrade's branding, evaluation templates, software, and report card designs are the property of SportGrade. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you.
We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, the 60-day data access and deletion timeline described in our Privacy Policy and above applies.
SportGrade is provided "as is." We are not liable for coaching decisions, roster decisions, or any other decisions made based on the content of a report card. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportGrade's liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders directly.
